Concrete Flooring Andover

Production Process:

Nationwide Concreting recently carried out an 11,000m2 concrete flooring project on behalf of Brymor Construction for their client Rich Foods. The job consisted of a 1,100m2 first floor and a 10,000m2 ground floor, both cast in 1000m2 bays that will form a new production warehouse. As part of the job, we installed an Isedio shield joint, 130 metres around the dock levellers in preparation for the concrete pour at 225mm thickness.

The project took eleven days for the Nationwide Concreting team - four workers to prep and lay rebar/mesh and a further six-strong team to pour the concrete, which consisted of eleven pours. We also had four power floaters on site every day to ensure a smooth finish. The project was managed to a tight timescale to enable Brymor to meet their contractual obligations with their client.
