Our scope of works included:

Installing CF60 1.2mm gauge metal decking
Welding 19x95mm studs to all floor plates
Coordinating multi-phase delivery schedules in a confined city-centre site

Close collaboration with both Barnwood Construction and the delivery teams ensured timely progress without disruption to the surrounding environment. Our proactive approach helped maintain site flow and keep the build programme on track.

Production Process:

We recently completed a six-storey metal decking installation for Barnwood Construction in Honeybourne Place, Cheltenham. The site's central location, adjacent to a large Waitrose supermarket made logistics a key challenge. However, with careful planning and collaboration, our team successfully delivered the project across three structured phases.

Seamless Transition to Concrete Flooring:

Following each decking and studding phase, our concrete flooring team took over to prepare and pour the reinforced slab. This included:

Installing B785 & B1131 mesh around all perimeters
Laying A252 mesh reinforcement throughout
Coordinating slab work efficiently between each level to minimise downtime

In addition to the upper floors, we also completed the ground floor slab, which featured over 80 tonnes of bar reinforcement, demonstrating our full-package delivery from deck to finish.
