Reynolds Groundworks

Nationwide Concreting were recently delighted to undertake a large concrete floor measuring 2627m2 for Reynolds Groundworks in Woolwich.

The project consisted of three concrete pours at around 90m3 per pour. There were some challenges for our team with this project, as the concrete slab needed to hold a number of steel columns whilst remaining 100mm deep at all times. Our team worked smartly and managed to overcome this issue by using a suitable amount of piping line to be able to manoeuvre in and around each steel column. 

After the pouring operatives had finished laying the wet concrete, our Powerfloating team stepped in to begin their work. This slab was not only very difficult to pour, but also to finish as our team had to complete a dry shake topping before the slab was fully polished.

Reynolds Groundworks were delighted with the final results - yet another happy client for Nationwide Concreting.
